I was stuck in a rutt with my training, attending spin 5 times a week and not seeing any results so I decided to sign up and I'm so glad I have. Throughout the course all three PT's have been so helpful, supportive and encouraging. I thought I was generally eating well however, the nutritional education provided has been genuinely eye opening and from someone who yoyos with their weight. I really have a sense that this course has provided me with a greater understanding of the balance my body needs to achieve my goals.
At 41 I had never stepped foot in the weights room, terrified that it wasn't a place for someone like me. This course slowly built my understanding of the lifting techniques required to safely build my strength and the PT's supported those first scary moments in the weights room, 6 weeks on and I'm happily training by myself (I'm genuinely shocked). Everyone on the course has been so supportive, the classes are challenging but the banter, fun and positive attitudes has carried us all through. If you want to make changes in your fitness, diet and strength I would totally recommend Motiv8.



I've been a part of the Motiv8 community for just over 2 years now. I'd been quite active before that with a mix of walking and fitness classes which I thoroughly enjoyed, but occasionally found it difficult to maintain due to waining motivation. However, since joining Motiv8, the transformation I've seen physically and mentally has been amazing.
The trainers are next to none with their encouragement and support. The camaraderie amongst the community is also a bonus to help with keeping motivated. Being accountable to others has definitely helped to drive me towards my goals.



The programme was tough but exactly the push I needed to reach my goals. The lads were extremely helpful and motivating throughout my time on the programme. I thought I had my nutrition down but doing the programme it opened my eyes to not only eating healthier, but how to make smarter choices in order to keep progressing. There were plenty of opportunities to push yourself in the classes and scale back when you needed to, all helped by the others on the programme who were encouraging and supportive. Would recommend the programme to anyone that wants to learn nutrition, get lean and stay in shape.


“I’ve never had abs in my life”
Before starting Motiv8 the majority of my training was mainly cardio based. I was terrified to step in to the weights room. Through doing the course it’s taught me how to lift weights whilst having the correct form. A few weeks in to the course I felt like I had so much more energy, I was stronger and all together a lot more motivated. For me definitely the hardest part of the course was the eating and being prepared, as before I would just grab anything that was on the go. Des, Mike, Gus and the Motiv8 team where so helpful sending over healthy meal options, it true what they say abs just aren’t made in the gym they are made in the kitchen too. Motiv8 has definitely changed my lifestyle and the way I now see food. I am absolutely over the moon with my results.



I've just finished my initial 8-week programme with Motiv8 and I have never felt better - it's only the beginning of my fitness journey but I have seen huge improvements in such a short space of time.
When I started I couldn't bench press anything over 35kg but just over half-way through the programme I was managing to bench almost 50kg - a feat I couldn't have imagined achieving a few months ago.
As well as my physical health, the programme has improved my mental health and confidence massively as I am naturally quite a shy person and can get nervous when meeting new people. The whole community at Motiv8 always make me feel included and I've never left a session where we haven't had a good laugh.
I would recommend the programme to anyone who wants to improve their overall wellbeing as I can't imagine my life without it now and look forward to every session!

My experience was amazing!
I can’t quite believe my transformation! Not only did I have a substantial body transformation but I also had an education when it came to actually fuelling my body properly to get the desired results. I was always worried I was eating too much but turns out I didn’t eat enough. I now eat much more than I ever had and have a much healthier lifestyle and relationship with food.
I feel great and so happy with my results and can’t wait to see what I can do in the next course!


After going to the gym for years I was never getting the results I wanted. My body shape never changed, I was always bloated and usually lacked energy. Since starting this course, I've not only got stronger but my bloating has stopped, the scales are actually dropping and I feel so much better in myself. The nutritional guidance and support from these guys has been amazing! I have a much better understanding of what I should be eating and I'm lifting weights I never thought would be possible! Gus, Mikey and Des have been so supportive throughout and are literally there day and night if you ever need help with anything!! To top it off I've met a lovely group of people! I would 100% recommend Motiv8 to anyone wanting to improve their fitness, diet, strength and also to have lots of fun while doing it.


I've been a member of Motiv8 for almost a year now and can honestly say it's been the best decision- I only wish I'd joined earlier.
I've never been someone who loved the gym and previously struggled to fond motivation to go, especially on my own. The structure of the timetable and classes along with the sociable community element of Motiv8 has been hugely beneficial to changing my mindset and making going to the gym fun and something I genuinely look forward to.
I really have noticed a positive change in my motivation, fitness ability, strength and overall mental well-being so would highly recommend this course and community!



Great 8 week course. All the instructors were first class. My diet has totally changed and I have a better knowledge of exercises/programs in the gym now. I was kept motivated throughout the whole 8 weeks. Would strongly recommend! I have signed up to the next challenge.



So happy to have met Des, MC and Gus. Bootcamp has been absolutely amazing during lockdown and so happy it’s back! The boys can’t do enough for you and their hints and tips in the gym and motivation during lockdown has been invaluable. Can’t wait for the 8 week transformation course to start!



I've always had a bit of a love hate relationship with fitness and my weight has yo-yo'd over the years. Whenever trying to shift weight in the past I have always focused on cardio and reduced my calorie intake excessively, meaning I'd see results fairly quickly but never got much stronger and once I was happy with the weight I had shifted, I'd quit the gym completely and start the cycle again.
The Motiv8 transformation course has completely changed my outlook on fitness, on my first 8 week course I had lost 6kg whilst never feeling hungry, my fitness improved massively and I have gained the knowledge and confidence to weight train on my own, which I would never have done before.
All of the Motiv8 trainers are first class, there is a real sense of community on the course and above all you get a good laugh while improving your fitness. I jumped straight onto my second transformation course and can't wait to see the results at the end of it.
I would absolutely recommend the course to anyone looking to improve their relationship with exercises and food and improve their overall fitness.



I can’t recommend the Motiv8 course enough! Not only 8 weeks of amazing (but veryyy tough) classes but also unbelievable support from the guys Des, Gus and MC. From helping with the weights programme they provide and making sure your technique is correct to sending nutritional advice and keeping you on track with your weight loss goals - they really cover everything you need. When I first joined round 1 of Motiv8 I hadn’t even stepped foot into the weights room and everything was very new to me!! Now on week 4 of Motiv8 2 I’m feeling so much more confident and continuing to get stronger and fitter. The guys and others in the group make the whole experience so much fun! If you aren’t finding your usual gym classes are tough enough and pushing you to your limits or you need extra help with your diet then Motiv8 is definitely the course for you! 😀

Firstly I would like to start with how grateful I am to not only the 3 personal trainers (Des, Gus & Mike) but to the whole group for supporting me. So I thought my biggest challenge would be to give up drinking booze for 8 weeks but I was wrong. All the PT’s have been so supportive and coaching us every step of the way, giving me continuous amazing feedback which has kept me motivated, I didn’t want to let myself or them down. So here I am with two weeks left to go and I am over the moon at my progress, lost around 8.6lbs. I can not recommend this enough. I have met a bunch of amazing people and some which I consider as a friend for life. The WhatsApp group that was created has been a god send, everyone getting involved, sharing success, sharing food ideas and general banter.
All the PT’s have made me feel super comfortable and they are all so knowledgeable. Always at hand to answer any questions, spending extra time with people out with the transformation times. Really shows this isn’t just a job for them they truly care and will invest everything into you and to your progress. I have taken a lot from this even though I attended the gym regularly, main thing is you can achieve whatever you set your mind to and to be honest the gym workouts are the easy bit and I think the bit people struggle most with is the diet. It has really opened my eyes to how much diet impacts your body.
The guys have been amazing giving us ideas as so what we can eat, giving us advice on things to avoid. One of my worries was the before and after photos, now had 2 out of the 3 photos done and they make you feel so comfortable which was massive for me. I know on the back of this 8 weeks I will definitely change my life style. I never once thought I would ever say I am not bothered about a having alcohol but here I am, I am really not bothered. If you are like what I was sitting on the fence, should I do this, should I not, then I would tell you, GO FOR IT. It’s 8 weeks only and I am feeling amazing for it. The guys will give you everything they have and support you throughout this. Could not have done it without them. There has been a right mix of levels within the group and I can hand in heart say every single one of us has changed. Classes are brilliant and I have enjoyed every single second of it.

Prior to starting this course, my level of mental and physical fitness was nowhere near where it should be for someone my age. The pounds kept piling on and I was gradually becoming more and more unhappy with myself. Working from home in the confines of my living room really started to take its toll on my mental health and confidence. Signing up to Motiv8 Transformations and 8 weeks later, I am now looking at potentially participating in a CrossFit event next year, which is something I never have imagined I’d ever do! The Motiv8 transformation course has well and truly changed my life for the better and has pushed me to and beyond my limits.
